not half bad

yeah, i can get down with this. repetitive tho.
all together not bad. 4/5 (to counter all the zero bombers) 7/10
the drums aren't steady enough tho. try a stronger steadier beat.

yeah, you definitely captured the feeling

good job, mate. keep this up and you have a bright future my friend ^^

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

Thank you^^
I'm getting a little better with every song :]

i agree

wow, this is really good. i usually protest monotone vocals... but this is really frisking good. screw people who 0 bomb this, this is really good. the lyrics were exceptionally good, i can relate to them and they are easy to listen to. the music is well done and mastered flawlessly. this is too well done for anyone to rate this lower than 4, i'm not kidding.

5/5
10/10

Zodiax responds:

thank you, im glad you thought it was good :)

impressive!

i really enjoyed the sounds here... i'm going to have to take a look at milkytracker myself lol.. i loved the bass and the chords, and it was smooth, flowing, and altogether well made.... i'm going to have to look into those sounds, haha, i've been searching for something kinda like that =)

overall, pretty good, make it much longer... and maybe add some vocals (japanese, maybe?) if you want help with vocals, though, i'll be glad to help =)

Azezo responds:

Well, the kick and the snare samples were from a 90's Radix module, and the other samples were drawn by me in milkytracker (milkytracker has a really handy sample editor).

lolz... funny lol

so, um, as your use name is Snooglebum, i'm going to assume this was a serious track, and so i will take it as seriously as possible (lol...)

it's hollow. that means you need to add some sort of bass into the mix. also, something rhythm-like would help. like an ARP? or a euro gate? i'm not sure for this kid of music... but yeah. and make it actually move... feels like your song is sitting in one place because it's lazy lol...

Snooglebum responds:

It's not supposed to be any sort of dance song or a song with a heavy bass, it's a lullaby, it's supposed to be gentle and soothing.

Thanks for the review!

needs improvement

i'm actually not a huge fan, here. i'm actually thinking your main sounds are way to loud, and there isn't enough bass... and it doesn't climax like it should. think of a song like a mountain... you spend the whole song climbing it... and you can see the top, and your anticipating it... and when you get there (3/4 of the way trough a 3 minuet song, usually) you take a moment to take in the wonderful view... and then you Ski down! Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!

lol

01Glitch01 responds:

this was the first song that i made on mixcraft, so i knew that it wasnt that good i just put it on to see what people think

hmm... i forseee greatness lol

-2 points because it's just loops.
but this is really good, and the mastering is good... again, if you ever need me to record a guitar track for you, i'll be more than happy, i can record electric or acoustic, driven or clean =)
i really like the drums though, they fit with the guitar, but i think the bass should be less heavy... and by heavy i don't mean metal, you should use some kind of lift on it... if your using mixcraft that may not be an option, but i have the right software for that... i would love to collaborate with you sometime =)

01Glitch01 responds:

ok thanks for the review

Pretty well... Pretty lol

i really like this one... i think the transition near the beginning is too... sudden lol.
other than that this is a really good ambiance track =) well done =)

btw, is the guitar real? it's hard to tell in the intro, it's fairly real sounding but electric 12 strings are rare enough, and i've never heard one with that few harmonics in the sound... if not electric, it must be a VERY nice acoustic =)

01Glitch01 responds:

no the guitar is not real all of the music that i've made so far has been made on mixcraft

I speak on behalf of everyone who isn't a loser =)

this is exceptionally good... but new grounds is full of what i like to call "heavy heads"... people who only like the hard rave techno stuff... it's good to know that there are other real musicians on new grounds, haha. i would love to work with you sometime =) if you ever want a *real* guitar or saxophone, piano or orchestra track, feel free to ask, please do, i'll record you one in a heartbeat =)

and i'm pretty sure the reason you don't get many reviews is because of all the heavy head losers who just ignore these kinds of music or rate them 1/5 because they don't like the genera =)

01Glitch01 responds:

hey thanks it would be nice if you could send me some tracks, but i dont know if you can. ill pm u about it.

well done!

i'll be watching this track... and if you need anything from your humble apprentice feel free to ask...

but i will NOT sing lol... not yet. i need to be alone to sing this one lol...
very nice lyrics though =)

combatplayer responds:

lol thanks.. and "humble apprentice" ?!? NICE.. xD

and i like the story of the lyricks too... just need to fix some of the ryhms.. n u definatly need to be alone for this one xD (some of the lyicks are maybe to be yelled or screamed the rockish style lol)
